Currents in Theology and Mission: A History

Abstract

Ralph W. Klein rehearses the historical background for Currents in Theology and Mission in the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. He also outlines what he tried to do with Currents during the thirty-five years he served as its editor, both when it was solely a Seminex publication and when it was joined in publishing it by Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, and Wartburg Theological Seminary. He makes a number of suggestions for the new online version of Currents and wishes it a long and successful run.
