Christ is Present in Ordinary Things

Abstract

 This essay includes three vignettes centered around the idea that Christ is present in ordinary things. We share stories about how we developed our virtual communion practices during the early days of the pandemic, how technology connects a worshiping body divided by a border wall, and the ongoing importance of technology to connect the community of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in San Diego.
