Getting Out of the Box

Abstract

The author reflects on the experiences of immigrants from Mexico from the perspective of our proclivity to stereotype others and put them in boxes. The reader is encouraged to see others, including immigrants, as children of God who happen to have been born in another part of this world that God created for all as valued children of God.
