The authors, Evelyn and Amanda Straw, describe the relationships that constituted Gordon Straw's life: his relationship with the God who called him to ministry in a variety of contexts, with his Native heritage and the lifegiving traditions fostered by this heritage, with his beloved family and friends, and with the students he taught and mentored as well as the colleagues he valued.
